Pate's started as one hardware store in the small rural community of Comanche, TX in 1988. Through the years, things have changed. Pate's has expanded to include an additional 7 store locations in central and west Texas. They also added an equipment rental store, and a distribution center to the Comanche area. The Pate's Distribution Center allows deliveries to be made all over the state of Texas, and even out of state sometimes.  These changes have allowed Pate's to include an outside sales team to help contractors with their building project needs, whether it be a small remodel or large multifamily job. The Pate family, which includes Mr. Pate, his wife, their four sons and two daughter-in-laws, still own and actively manage the company with the help of an outstanding professional staff. Pate's past growth and changes have been phenomenal, and has opened Pate's to bigger and better opportunities for the future.
